MEET OUR VESTRY

The Vestry of the Episcopal Church is a group of elected lay leaders responsible for overseeing the temporal and financial affairs of a local congregation, known as a parish. The vestry plays a crucial role in the governance and administration of the church under the guidance of the parish priest or rector. 

Vestry members are elected by the congregation and serve for a specified term, often rotating to ensure continuity and fresh perspectives. They are expected to act with integrity, transparency, and accountability, upholding the values and teachings of the Episcopal Church in their leadership roles.  Overall, the vestry plays a vital role in supporting the spiritual and practical life of the church, working collaboratively with clergy and lay members to nurture the community's faith, service, and outreach.
