On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the Grace Episcopal Church family gathered for a day filled with food, fun, and fellowship at our Families and Friends Cookout. It was a blessing to see members, friends, and guests come together to share a joyful afternoon.

There was plenty of delicious food, exciting family games, and lots of laughter. One of the highlights was a special book signing by local children's author Dawn Tyson, who shared her inspiring book Ava's Fabulous Hair Journey. Mrs. Tyson delighted the children with arts, crafts, and games, while also gifting them free books and prizes that made the day unforgettable.

We extend a heartfelt thank-you to Mr. Vernon Clifton, owner of The Freelance Security Service, who donated over 50 bookbags and helped set up all the tents for the event. Your generosity and hands-on support ensured families had what they needed and that our gathering ran smoothly.

To our organizers, volunteers, families, and community partners—thank you for showing up with joyful hearts and servant leadership. Your support made this Cookout a true celebration of God's love and community spirit.
